MISSIONARY CHURCH TODAY MAGAZINE

·        Mission:  To communicate to the Missionary Church the word and work of God among us.

 

·        Missionary Church Today is a magazine distributed quarterly to over 16,000 homes.  It is theme-focused, but always includes news, devotional thoughts, prayer-guidance, and an article from Dr. William Hossler, President of Missionary Church, Inc.

 

·        There is no charge for the magazine to active participants in the Missionary Church.  However, there is an annual appeal for voluntary support.

 

·        Articles are received from various authors who are involved in the denomination.  Projected themes are available.

·        Mission:  Every member-household of the Missionary Church have an appropriate and effective Will or Estate plan.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGNS

·        Mission:  To assist local churches in raising major monies, to enhance ministry, expand facilities, or retire indebtedness.

 

·        General information:

§         It is reasonable to expect an average church in North America to raise two times its budget in addition to its budget/mission giving, over a three-year period in response to a professionally led capital campaign.

 

§         Capital campaigns normally require 12-14 weeks to conduct and complete, leading to initial income for the specific project

 

·        Capital campaigns are often preceded by Vision Workshops.  Development and Communications Department is available to direct and conduct this campaign facet, often leading to capital campaigns.  Usually requires a minimum of 8 weeks, climaxing and concluding with a church wide Friday-Saturday “hands-on” workshop which clarifies the church’s vision, while obtaining a maximum ownership of it.

§         Dr. Tom Murphy is available to counsel, assist or direct CSP’s in Missionary churches at no fee.  He has directed over 65 campaigns in all major denominations and in many Missionary churches.
