Blessing Your Missionaries

We know that you and your congregation enjoy blessing World Partners Missionaries while they are both on the field and during Home Ministry Assignment (HMA). Beginning this month, World Partners is going to let you know how you can do so. Stay tuned for more ideas and ways you can connect with your missionaries and be a blessing!While they are on the field:

• The most popular request, hands down, was more personal interaction and communication. You are important to your missionaries!  They want to hear from you.  Most missionaries can receive letters, email, zoom and skype calls, and phone calls with no trouble and little or no cost.  If you’re not sure about the technology, ask your missionary.  They would be happy to help you!
• Help your missionaries to find the “prayer warriors” in your congregation, so they can ask them directly to pray.

While they are on HMA:

• Connect with your missionaries when they are on HMA. Ask them thoughtful questions.  Share with them how your church is doing and how they can be a support to you.
• Arrange for the pastor, missions board, or someone from the church to meet with the missionary outside of the normal Sunday morning time slot. Plan an appointment long enough to have a relaxed visit with enough time for real connection.
