Generate exists for one purpose:

We do this through funding, coaching, training, networking, credentialing, and resourcing of churches and church planters.

Prayer is foundational to our strategy
PrayFIRST! represents more than the name of our prayer ministry. PrayFIRST is our approach to ministry. We equip regions, churches, and individuals to approach every person, task, and decision with prayer.
Church planting is a spiritual matter. Without the power of God we cannot take the strongholds of Satan. We ask church planters to build a team of at least 25 prayer partners who will pray for them daily. We have built a team of people who can help you build yours.

The Church Multiplication Training Center helps church planters develop practical church planting skills and apply their gifts to their church and community.
Assessment
We assess potential church planters through behavioral interviews and other testing to determine their qualifications and to build an appropriate support system to help them be effective in ministry. This screening process has increased the effectiveness of our church plants. It has enabled us to tailor our coaching and support to each church planter’s needs.
Discipleship
Denominations, Christian organizations, and churches that don’t learn to multiply usually spend their future dealing with division or subtraction. Everyone knows that it’s critical for any group to grow, but the secret to developing a strong and sustaining ministry is multiplication. That takes a vision and a strategy.
one mission — Multiple expressions
Generate offers comprehensive, strategic planning workshops for the planter, spouse, and other team members along with the coach. Due to the diversity of church models within the Generate network of churches, we have different training and coaching designed to accommodate those different styles. So whatever your model, we have training for you.
Included are skill development, resourcing, developing a discipling engine, master planning and spiritual preparation. The planter gains the ability to clearly articulate the vision and strategy for the church plant.
Training
Generate training is done nationwide and worldwide at some of the largest church leadership conferences and in locally arranged settings. It is designed to help you and your team embrace the Great Commission and learn what it means not just to make disciples — but to start a disciple-making movement.
Coaching
No team is successful without great coaching, and we believe the same thing about church pastors and church planters. Generate has an incredible staff of district and regional coaches that can help you navigate the challenges in your ministry. From monthly coaching calls to personal visits and simple email availability, our coaches are there for their team and provide wisdom and guidance from decades of experience.
We weren’t designed to do life alone —
and you weren’t designed to do ministry alone either!
Through our networks you can partner with like-minded churches, learn from each other, and share in the joys and struggles of your mission to multiply disciples across your city. Our networks are constantly adding new churches in addition to planting new churches. So more than likely there is a network near you.
If you make disciples, you always get the church. But if you make a church, you might not get disciples.
Jesus never asked us to plant churches, he instead asked us to make disciples. The purpose of the Ignite network is to help you build a culture that produces and reproduces disciples.

Pursuing your call to ministry
The Pastoral Leadership Institute (PLI) removes the educational barriers that might otherwise keep those God has called from pursuing a vocation in ministry. The online classes are interactive and designed to both meet the needs for credentialing within the Missionary Church and to provide a solid foundation of biblical knowledge and understanding for those just seeking greater insights.
We realize there are many people interested in pursuing their calling who need to be preparing for that special career. Yet the need to balance family, career, and finances can be a barrier. You’ll find that PLI has created a dynamic and affordable program to fit people’s busy lives.
Whether pursuing Missionary Church credentials or seeking spiritual development, meeting prescribed educational requirements or selectively cherry-picking, PLI courses could provide just what you’re looking for!
