SEPTEMBER 16-17, 2024

AVALON CHURCH, Fort Wayne, IN

A GREAT WAY TO BEGIN THE FALL SEASON IS WITH AN EMPHASIS ON PRAYER.

This conference is an opportunity for pastors, lay leaders and prayer coordinators to be challenged and encouraged while fostering meaningful moments of collective prayer.

We urge pastors to bring a team of people so that they will be inspired and motivated to lead their churches to transform into authentic praying communities and houses of prayer.

GUEST SPEAKER:

Bob Bakke

Bob was the senior pastor of Hillside Church, Bloomington, MN, for sixteen years where he was heard on radio each Sunday. He and his wife, Sally, left Minneapolis for Vero Beach, FL in 2022. They have four married children — a daughter, three sons, and ten grandchildren.

A graduate of Taylor University and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Bob spent fourteen years serving Connecticut and New Jersey churches, twelve years as an Executive Director of the Evangelical Free Church of America (promoting prayer and spiritual awakening), before assuming leadership of Hillside Church. He is an historian, a published author, and a producer of national simulcasts.

Over the course of nearly twenty-five years, Bob produced The Nationally Broadcast Concert of Prayer; an award-winning radio, television and Internet simulcast on the evening of The National Day of Prayer, as well as the Global Day of Prayer, a movement he helped found while mobilizing prayer movements and television, radio and Internet broadcasts across 220 nations and territories.

Bob is also a founding member of OneCry (onecry.com), a national coalition seeking revival and spiritual awakening in the American Church. Under the auspices of OneCry, he has also produced The Collegiate Day of Prayer, which aired internationally last year from Asbury University at the height of its revival, and then, again, from Baylor University, Waco, TX, this past February. He bears first-hand witness to God’s stirring on our college campuses.
