PRAISE THE LORD FOR:FLORIDA: Vonette Bright, a great woman of God, was taken home to Glory on December 23. Her memorial service was held in Orlando on Friday, January 8. Through her, Mary Jean and I were called into the Campus Crusade prayer ministry. We thank God for her amazing life!CENTRAL ASIA: Statistics for 2015 just received: 15,558 heard the Gospel, 194 new churches and Bible groups were planted. (CRU)JAPAN: Franklin Graham recently conducted an evangelistic crusade in Tokyo. Despite the largely secular culture, more than 48,000 people listened or watched in the arena and on line. For the first time in many years, a majority of Americans call themselves pro-life. Overturning Roe v. Wade seems a real possibility in our lifetime. January is National Sanctity of Life month. EUROPE: Pray that people and authorities of this region will cope effectively with the huge stream of refugees. Pray that the love of Christ will reach many Muslims. Pray, too, for (1) powerful region-changing prayer initiatives being planned for both Europe and the Middle East and (2) God’s breakthroughs in 2016.
