Russell K. Bussie Hollenbaugh, Jr., CYNDEE BRINKs father, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016. Pray for his wife, Ruth, Cyndee and Tom, his children, and family during this difficult time. A funeral service and burial occurred during the weekend of January 17.Congratulations to STEVE and SHEILA HARRIGAN on the birth of their first grandchild, Selah Ruth Harrigan, to Anne and Tim Harrigan!World Partners welcomes two new missionary couples, NATHAN and CHRISTINA DURAN, who will be seconded with YWAM to Belize and JOSH and SHANNA BRADLEY to Nicaragua.BULGARIA: JOSH HAWKINS language learning is greatly increasing. His new teacher has made a huge difference in Joshs ability to understand and use the language. Pray language acquisition for Josh and Sarah would continue to go well.UNITED STATES: Pray for BILL JONES as he meets individually with the six men in the Missions/Discipleship House on the Bethel College campus. Also pray as this group meets every Tuesday evening to discuss their focus of making disciples and how that relates to following Jesus model and obeying His command to do so. Pray also for Bill and Debbie as they facilitate The Art of Marriage enrichment weekend on February 12-13 at Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana. Pray it would be an encouraging time for those attending.INDONESISA: Pray for a STAFF MEMBER and AFFILIATE as they continue their mission as Gods peacemakers. Their ministry includes activities which promote religious, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic harmony to defuse the hatred and darkness taught by radicals.CAMEROON: Pray for DAVID BJORK as he leads a discipleship training workshop from January 19-23. The goal of the workshop is the multiplication of disciples who are intentionally seeking to follow Him and model their lifestyle after Christs example and teaching. Pray the participants in the workshop will embrace discipleship and begin to make disciples who make disciples.NEPAL: A short-term construction team of three, led by Ken Troutman, is currently in Nepal through January 23. Pray for safety as they complete their project and return home.NEPAL: From January 26-February 5, a second construction team will be traveling to Nepal to serve by repairing buildings destroyed by the earthquake of April 2015. Pray for the seven men who will participate in this trip.DOMINICAN REPUBLIC: A team of volunteers from Chapel Hill Missionary Church in Jones, Michigan, will be in Monte Cristi, Dominican Republic, from January 27-February 5, 2016. This team will work with the leadership at the Monte Cristi Missionary Church to help construct the congregations new building.SOUTHEAST ASIA: Pray for a STAFF MEMBER as he prepares for a work conference he will lead next week. AWANA begins for the local children once again and the STAFF COUPLE are involved. Pray as the team prepares and that the hearts of the children would be ready to receive His Word and love. Fifty percent of the children attending are from non-Christian families. Pray also as the staff couple prepares and signs children up for the Kids English Club. Pray God will direct this process and build the relationships He has already planned for them.INDIA: Pray for a partner of World Partners in India as he leads two family camps on January 20-22 and January 25-27.UNITED STATES: The countries of Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone have been declared Ebola Virus free. This past year many of you committed yourselves to fast, pray, and financially support these countries during this crisis. STEVE and SHEILA HARRIGAN invite YOU to join them in a celebration to our Lord for the end of Ebola and continued prayer for the survivors left behind. This celebration will take place on January 31 at 11:30 a.m. in Room #106 at Fellowship Missionary Church, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
