SEEK GOD FOR THE CITY
One of the ways to encourage people to pray is by providing resources that will assist them in praying beyond their personal needs. It is also helpful to give them a focus and even a time frame for that focus.Seek God for the City provides a focus and a time frame for people to pray. It is a 40 day prayer focus that begins March 6 and concludes on Palm Sunday, April 14. Participants literally pray around the world. There are Scripture based prayers for each day, Scriptures to reflect on, and suggestions on how to prayer for specific people in specific parts of the world.The last pages of the prayer guide suggest other resources to strengthen and focus one’s prayer life.
