GenZ Mental Health Event for The Missionary Church
The Central Region is hosting an upcoming event that we believe can be a catalyst for engaging your students and families on the topic of mental health.
Thanks to our friends at Springtide Research, we know:
Nearly 40% of GenZ feel as if no one knows them
61% of GenZ agree that “the adults in my life don’t truly know how much I am struggling with my mental health”
33% of GenZ say they are not flourishing in their mental and emotional health
100% of GenZ need: trusted adults in their lives and a pastoral framework for mental health
We want to support you in your effort on that last bullet point!
In partnership with RemedyLIVE and The Get Schooled Tour, we have created the See You Tomorrow event.
See You Tomorrow - February 7 at 7pm EST
See You Tomorrow will be a 75-minute interactive experience featuring live-polling and an engaging discussion on mental health centered around a pastoral framework. Our hope is to get proactive when it comes to student's mental health, and give them the support, resources, and care they need to share about their secret struggles.
While the target audience is 5th-12th grade, we highly encourage pastors, small group leaders, and parents to participate - the next generation needs trusted adults in their lives, especially when it comes to mental health!
There are 2 options to participate:
LIVE - the event will take place at First Missionary Church in Fort Wayne, IN
SIMULCAST - you can tune-in online and participate with the interactive portions
Both of these options will include:
“drive home questions” and “small group questions” to equip parents and small group leaders to have a discussion with their students about mental health
book recommendations and book giveaways for students, parents, and church leaders
“next steps” and contact information to get appropriate care and help as needed
We also understand that February 7 may not work on your calendar. We will be recording the event and make it available for an On-Demand option at a future date (same content, but will miss out on the live, interactive portion).
No matter how you plan on participating, we ask that you REGISTER. We are offering a registration for CHURCHES and an option for FAMILIES that want to attend but their home church is not participating.
