Extenuating circumstances process
Credential applicant complete this form. Results will be forwarded to the regional director.
Region conducts investigation and interviews with the candidate and current spouse as needed to determine if one of the four biblical grounds for divorce are evidenced. Refer to the ECC policy for more information and use the ECC Regional Recommendation Form as a tool to assist in the process.
Regional credentialing committee recommends to regional board if candidate should be approved.
Regional board votes to approve with at least 75% vote if candidate should be approved.
Once each of the above has been completed, the ECC Regional Recommendation Form should be submitted with all docs and board minutes attached. At this point the ECC will review the case and respond to the regional director with next steps.
If a region would like assistance from the ECC throughout their process, email ECC Chair Dan Palmer at dpal6947@gmail.com to request a member of the committee to serve your region in any way. They are eager to serve!
