There will be victorious joy by a few in every sport, but many will walk away disappointed in their results. This disappointment is why we have chaplains in Rio and need your prayers. (AIA)AMERICAN INDIANS: “Please pray for follow-up with new believers on each Reservation as a result of the “On Eagles’ Wings” outreaches this summer. Pray that it will yield James 1:2-4 significance for future days in the plan of God.PRAY THIS WEEK FOR:PAKISTAN: Ask God to glorify Jesus concerning an approaching execution of Asia Bibi. This Christian mother of five has been on a prison death row for six years. Her crime as an “unclean Christian” is that of offering a drink of water to a Muslim fellow field worker. (ACLJ)RUSSIA: Christians in the former Soviet Union are watching for fallout from a new anti-evangelism law. Thankfully, the law does not forbid one-on-one dialogue about God, private prayer in homes, or personal evangelism as some reports have indicated. (Assist News Service)USA: Pray that every Christian will vote in public elections as a sacred duty. Never again should we lose by default, giving further control to those who stand in opposition to God. (D.
