FRANCE: Praise! JEREMY and MINDIE TICE and family received their passports and arrive in France today. Pray for the Tices as they set up a new household, settle into new schools, and address all the details which come with living in a new country.SPAIN: MARK and CARLA HANSON are currently in the U.S. with four students who study English as a Second Language with Carla in Spain. Pray for the students as they experience a different culture and for the Hansons as they guide the students. Pray also for Carlas health. She currently has tremors in her hands which doctors cannot diagnose as tests have come back normal. Pray she would be able to rest and that the tremors would cease.AFRICA: The Southern Africa Leaders Meeting will take place August 22-26 in Africa. Those attending the meeting will include the Southern African leaders, DAVE MANN, RICK DUGAN, and Pastor Daniel Vandock. Pray for travel safety and spiritually significant conversations.IRELAND: Pray for DENNY COLLINS mother as she suffered a slight stroke last weekend, but is now recovering at home. Pray also for Denny on August 25 as he will have outpatient surgery on his right ear for basel cell skin cancer. Pray the doctor would be able to remove all the cancer and that there will be no infection.BULGARIA: Pray for JOSH HAWKINS as he prepares to teach at the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students and lead a seminar on evangelism and discipleship October 10-24. Pray also for SARAH as she is experiencing severe back pain.UNITED STATES: Pray for BILL JONES as he participates in Innovation Training August 17-18 on the Bethel College campus in Mishawaka, Indiana.IRELAND: DENNY and LINDA COLLINS will be sharing about their ministry in Midland, Michigan, on August 21.THAILAND: JULIE DEALEY is on Home Ministry Assignment in the U.S. until September. There is a lack of unity and a sense of complacency among churches in the state and an urgent need for revival. Pray for an awakening of hearts and a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Pray for ambition for the youth of Melaka, and goals that go beyond material achievements. Pray for sustainable plans and policies by state legislators. Praise God for the opportunities coming into Malaysia and pray for the local government as they seek to improve the state.
